Carlos Javier Gomez

LINCOLNTON, N.C.—Carlos Javier Gomez, age 88, of Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
A funeral mass will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at St. Dorothy Catholic Church with Father Michael Carlson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Gomez was born August 3, 1938, in Colombia, South America, to the late Ceveriano and Teresa Granada Gomez. He worked as a jeweler.
He is survived by his loving wife, Aura Jaramillo Gomez of the home; sons, Irwin Alexis Gomez and wife Martha, of Lincolnton, Javiar Anthony Gomez, Teresa Gomez, Luzella Gomez, and Estella Gomez; and granddaughters, Melissa Gomez, Sasha Gomez, and Alexis Gomez.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Gomez family.
