LINCOLNTON, N.C.—Randy Carroll Willis Jr., age 52, of Bedford Lane in Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
Randy was born May 22, 1974, in Lincoln County, to the late Randy and Virginia Wilson Willis. He served in the United States Army and worked on sprinkler systems for many years.
Randy was a good man and a loving father and husband. He was a “jack of all trades, master of none” and always had to keep himself busy. He loved playing guitar, riding motorcycles, and building things. He loved all kinds of music and had a deep appreciation for art. He had an answer for almost any question you asked, whether it was the right answer or not. He is described by many as a genuinely “awesome man.”
He is survived by his wife, Brande Grant Willis of the home; children, Lilly Willis and Maggie Willis; brother, Buddy Willis (Robin); sister, Angela Smith (Jeff); sister-in-law, Gabrielle Rudisill (Jimmy); his bestest furry friends, Sofie and Marley “Bulldog”; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at the current time.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Willis family.
