Beth Wray Sain
November 19, 1953—August 14, 2026
WAYNESVILLE, N.C.—Beth Wray Sain, 72, of Waynesville passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
Beth was born on November 19, 1953 in Lincoln County to the late Ray Benjamin Sain and Kathleen Eaker Sain. Beth was an avid beekeeper and was very active in the Haywood County Beekeepers Association where she served as president.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her significant other, Rick Queen.
Beth is survived by two sons, Cain Hallman of Vale and Luke Hallman and wife, Haley of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Ethan Hallman, Laney Hallman, Chase Hallman, Anna Grace Hallman, Knox Hallman, Morgan Dean and Fallon Dean; one great-grandson, Nash Hallman and a sister, Judy Heafner of Crouse.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Messiah United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Messiah United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Waynesville.
