5th Annual Ralph Sisk Memorial Car Show Set for November 14 at Lincoln Campus of Gaston College
Gates open at 10 a.m., and admission is free.
LINCOLNTON, N.C.—Car enthusiasts, families and community supporters are invited to come together for a good cause when the 5th Annual Ralph Sisk Memorial Car Show returns Saturday, November 14, at the Lincoln Campus of Gaston College.
Organized by the American Legion of Lincoln County, the annual event will feature an opportunity to enjoy an impressive collection of vehicles while supporting local veterans and their families. Gates open at 10 a.m., and admission is free.
More than just a gathering of classic cars and automotive enthusiasts, the car show serves as the American Legion's main annual fundraising event. Proceeds benefit American Legion Post 30 and the Veterans and Community Alliance, helping support programs and services designed to assist veterans and their families.
The American Legion works throughout the year to provide assistance to those who have served our country and their loved ones. Fundraising events such as the memorial car show help make those efforts possible.
Business owners, organizations and community groups are also encouraged to get involved by becoming event sponsors or reserving a booth. Organizers are inviting local businesses to take advantage of the opportunity to promote their products, services or organizations while showing their support for a worthwhile community cause.
Whether displaying a vehicle, visiting the show, sponsoring the event or setting up a booth, community participation helps make a difference for local veterans.
Organizers hope for strong community attendance and support as they celebrate the fifth year of this special event and continue its mission of giving back to those who have given so much.
