LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Downtown Lincolnton was filled with excitement Saturday, October 17, as families and visitors gathered for the 2026 Lincoln County Apple Festival.
Beautiful weather provided the perfect setting for one of Lincoln County's favorite annual traditions. Festivalgoers enjoyed a variety of food vendors, handmade crafts, entertainment and activities for children as crowds filled the streets of historic downtown.
Local businesses, community organizations, the Lincolnton Police Department and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office were among those participating in the festivities, giving children and families an opportunity to interact with local law enforcement while enjoying the celebration.
Now in its 54th year, the Apple Festival continues to celebrate Lincoln County's agricultural heritage while bringing the community together for a day of food, fun and fellowship.
Jasmine Dellinger captured scenes from throughout the festival, including smiling children, colorful vendors, local law enforcement, festival characters and the large crowds enjoying downtown Lincolnton.
The annual celebration remains a reminder of the community spirit and small-town traditions that make Lincoln County special.
