The Planning Board voted 8-0 to recommend approval.; The Board of Commissioners voted 5-0 to approve the request.

The Planning Board voted 8-0 to recommend approval.; The Board of Commissioners voted 3-2 to disapprove the request.

The property is located on the north side of N.C. 73 and the west side of N. Ingleside Farm Rd. at the intersection of the two roads in Catawba Springs Township.

The Planning Board voted 8-0 to recommend disapproval.; The applicant withdrew prior to the March 18th Board of County Commissioners meeting.

SR #89 D.R. Horton, Inc., applicant (Parcel ID# 50192) A request for a waiver from the subdivision standards in Section 5.4.11.B of the Unified Development Ordinance to permit a cul-de-sac shorter than 200 feet and to permit a cul-de-sac longer than ten times the minimum lot width. The subject property is located on the north side of N.C. 73 and the west side of N. Ingleside Farm Rd. at the intersection of the two roads in Catawba Springs Township.

The applicant withdrew prior to the March 18th Board of County Commissioners meeting.

SUP #502 David and Ashley Ribeiro, applicant (Parcel ID# 11423) A request for a special use permit to allow a Singlewide Manufactured Home in the R-S (Residential-Suburban) district. The 1.514-acre parcel is located on the south side of Hulls Grove Church Road approximately 500 feet east of John Richardson Lane in the Northbrook Township.

The Board of Commissioners voted 5-0 to approve the request.

SUP #503 KAT Properties, LLC, applicant (Parcel ID# 29859, 30256, 30258, and 33332) A request for a special use permit to construct a contractor’s office and contractor’s yard in the Eastern Lincoln Development District (ELDD) overlay. The application was administratively withdrawn, given the disapproval of the rezoning application.

WSSUP #37 KAT Properties, LLC, applicant (Parcel ID# 29859, 30256, 30258, and 33332) A request for a watershed special use permit to exceed 24% impervious surface area in the Mountain Island Lake WS-IV Protected Area as a special nonresidential intensity allocation under the 10/70 option. The applicant is proposing to develop a 2.66-acre site for a contractor’s office and contractor’s yard, with an impervious surface area of approximately 41%. The property is located at 1316 S. N.C. 16 Business Hwy. on the south side of Old Plank Road at the intersection with N.C. 16 Business in Catawba Springs Township.

The application was administratively withdrawn, given the disapproval of the rezoning application.
