LINCOLNTON––Christian Ministry’s Christmas fundraiser is picking up a head of steam.
According to its executive director, Mitzi William, as of Tuesday morning, the ministry had raised a total thus far of $39,863.22. The annual fundraiser is vitally important to the ministry’s mission, as the monies raised help keep the local charity going throughout the year, as Williams explained.
She also provided the following list of donors––including individuals, churches and businesses––who have contributed to the fundraiser so far, along with the amounts of their contributions, including a balance forward of $22,443.82:
Goodson Realty, $1,000;
the Lincoln County Schools, $1,212;
Spirit Life Church of God, $25;
Freedom Church, $3,773.40;
Cedar Grove Lutheran, $250;
the Lincolnton Shag Club, $219;
Rodney Black, $100;
Mountain View Baptist, $180;
and anonymous, $4,660.00.
Got donations? Drop them off at the ministry’s downtown Lincolnton offices, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
