LINCOLNTON––Christian Ministry’s annual Christmas angels have just arrived.
That’s the word Friday from executive director Mitzi Williams.
“Christmas angels are here!” she enthused, citing the group’s yearly toy campaign for local less fortunate children. “Come by the ministry, and pick up your angels. We are open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All toys should be delivered to the ministry by the second Friday in December. The ministry will be signing clients up for Christmas, starting Nov. 1. We are very busy and need your support!”
The Christmas season is always the ministry’s biggest time. Williams cited the following dates and details:
Through Dec. 16, the ministry is collecting food.
Until Dec. 9, it is collecting toys.
Nov. 22-Dec. 22, applications will be taken for Christmas food and toys.
Nov. 28-Dec. 9, small groups of volunteers are needed to sort school food.
And Dec. 23 brings the ministry’s annual Christmas food and toy distribution.
