LOWESVILLE––The Georgia-based Morrison Sisters will perform a free concert May 27 at 6 p.m.
The Vineyard Church of Lowesville is the place to be, according to noted gospel singer and concert co-ordinator Carroll Cooke. And although the concert is free, as Cooke recently noted, a free-will offering will be taken up.
Sisters Megan and Addie Morrison respectively play the bass guitar and the piano and mandolin. Younger sister Addie Morrison performs the lead vocal duties.
These talented sisters are known for their love of animals, comedy and sweet harmonies. And proud dad Wesley Morrison often joins his daughters on the guitar and backing vocals.
Also performing that evening will be the Kingsway Quartet of Greenville, S.C. This foursome has gathered much critical acclaim, including from The Southern Gospel News Today and other such publications.
The Vineyard Church is located at 1062 NC-16 South in Lowesville, just down the road from Hill’s Chapel United Methodist Church. The church features Southern, bluegrass and/or acoustic gospel concerts every Saturday evening.
