Pleasant Grove UMC Fundraiser, Saturday, October 8: Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church at 2069 Highway 182 West, Lincolnton, NC 28092 will have a BBQ Sandwiches/Fried Apple Pies Sale Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.  BBQ sandwiches will be $3, fried apple pies $3, and a bag lunch with a sandwich, chips, a cookie and drink will be $5.  They'll also be selling apple butter for $6 for a pint.  You can pre-order at 704-472-0388.

Calvary Baptist, 70th Anniversary Homecoming, October 8-9: Calvary Baptist Church, 493 Calvary Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will celebrate their 70th Anniversary over two days, October 8 and 9. On Saturday, October 8 at 5 p.m. a meal will be provided by the church in the fellowship building followed by a praise and worship service in the sanctuary by Todd and Abby Ledford Sutton. Also, former youth pastors tha will be speaking are Rick Link, Matt Seagle, Josh Lathan, and Brandon Blair. Then, on Sunday, October 9 at 10 a.m. (no Sunday School) worship service in the sanctuary with guest speakers Dr. Gary Byrd, Pastor David Jones, Rev. Ernie Richards, and Pastor Bruce Brooks. Special music provided by Todd and Abby Sutton. Please share this information to former members and friends who may no longer be this vicinity but might like to be a part of this special weekend at Calvary.

BCUMC Pumpkin Patch, Now – October 31:  Boger City United Methodist Church’s Pumpkin Patch will open on Saturday, September 24 with over 2,000 pumpkins and gourds from the Navaho Indian Reservation in Farmington, New Mexico. This fundraiser helps fund their church missions and helps benefit the Navaho Nation. Hours for the Pumpkin Patch will be Monday-Friday from 12 noon until 8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday 12 noon until 8 p.m. Prices will be based on the size of the pumpkins and gourds. Bring your camera for photo opportunities. The church is located at 2320 East Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092 (across from the Village Inn Pizza). Bethel Baptist, Old Fashioned Appellation Tent Revival, October 14-16: You are invited to join us for an old fashioned tent revival October 14-16 at 6 p.m. Speakers will be Rev. Wayne Brittain (Friday), Rev. Danny McCurry (Saturday), and Rev. Rick Hensley (Sunday). Music will be provided by the Jammers and the McCurry Family. Hotdogs will be served Saturday night. The church is located at 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Bethel Baptist Gospel Jam, Friday, October 28: Join us at Bethel Baptist Church for our monthly Gospel Music Jam on Friday, October 28 at 6 p.m. Come play, sing, fellowship, and eat a meal with us. We would love to have you!  Bethel Baptist Church is located at 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Crouse UMC Trunk-Or-Treat, Saturday, October 29: Join us on Saturday, October 29 at 4 p.m. for a Spook-ta-cular Time! In addition to our Trunk-Or-Treat there will be food, music, games and treats! The event will be held in the Crouse United Methodist Church parking lot, 3311 Crouse School Rd., Crouse, NC 28033. Please, no scary costumes. This is event is not limited to Crouse UMC members, if you would like to join us with a trunk, or assist in anyway, please call  Mildred Chapman at 704-472-0032. 

Bethel Baptist Glow With God Treats, Monday, October 31: Kids, come by and see us to get a Glow with God Treat Bag at Bethel Baptist Church on Monday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m. The church is located at 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Bethel Baptist Community Breakfast/Veteran and First Responder Appreciation, Saturday, November 5:  Join us at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 for our Community Breakfast from 6-10 a.m. on Saturday, November 5. We will be serving all of your country favorites, along with something sweet and a breakfast casserole! Donations only. To show our appreciation to Veterans and all First Responders (police, sheriff deputies, SHP, firefighters, EMT/EMS, and other emergency personnel) we would like to invite you to join us for a FREE breakfast on this Saturday. We hope to accommodate your shift changes. Thank you for all that you do!

Bethphage Lutheran Fall Bazaar, November 12: Bethphage Lutheran Church will host their First Annual Fall Bazaar on Saturday, November 12 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 4060 NC-182 Lincolnton NC 28092. Come enjoy breakfast and/or lunch, browse through many booths to purchase pottery, crafts, homemade salsa, jams and pimento cheese, baked goods, t-shirts, soaps, and much, much more! Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
