WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Keith D. Moretz, 90, of Winston-Salem was called home by his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Trinity Elms Health and Rehab in Clemmons.
Keith was born June 19, 1932, in Catawba County, the oldest son of the late James Keith Moretz and Lillian Barringer Moretz.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rebecca S. Moretz; and stepdaughter Diana S. Nicholson of Winston-Salem; son Richard K. Moretz of Carolina Beach; and son Jeffrey L. Moretz of Denver; sisters, Lou Jean M. Liem of Ellicott City and Sylvia M. Teague and husband Gary of Granite Falls; and sister-in-law, Linda L. Moretz of Conover. Keith will also be missed by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis E. Moretz of Conover; and son Michael D. Moretz of Great Falls, Va.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. at Conover City Cemetery. The family will receive friends earlier on that same day from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton, NC 28658.
