HUDSON, N.C. - Stephen “Steve” Ray Rhodes, 66, of Hudson, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at AMOREM in Hudson.
He was born February 17, 1956 in Kent County, Mich. to the late Ores Leroy Rhodes and Gail Christianson Rhodes. Steve was a member of North American Lutheran Church and an IT whiz. He enjoyed listening to contemporary Christian music, vacationing out on the water at Smith Mountain Lake, and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Rhodes.
Those left to cherish his memory is his son Gregory Rhodes of Summerfield; daughter Christina Rhodes of Jamestown; brother Michael Rhodes of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren Scarlett Grace Yow and Gregory Cash Yow.
A service to celebrate Steve’s life was held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 4 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church in Newton. Rev. David Hefner officiated. The family received friends prior to the service from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church.
