LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Robert Bennett Reep, 89, of Lincolnton, went home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022, in Hillcrest Gardens with Rev. Eli Williams officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Reep was born on January 23, 1933, in Lincoln County, the son of the late Sarah Reep Huss. He was an Army veteran stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He retired from French Apron Company in Gastonia. As a charter member of New Heights Baptist Church in Dallas, he served as a Deacon, moderator, and treasurer. He was a Godly man and a faithful attender.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 70 years, Rose Ann Reep, who he dearly loved; sister, Blanche Black; and stepbrothers, Johnny Huss, Donald Huss, and Roger Huss.
He is survived by his son, Robert “Mark” Reep of the home; stepbrothers, Edwin Huss (Ginger), and N.C. Huss (Phyllis); sister-in-law, Martha Tucker; brother-in-law, Jake Withers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
