NEWTON, N.C. - Jennifer Aaron Broadwell, 42, of Newton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
She was born April 23, 1980 in Catawba County to Cary H. Broadwell, Jr. of Newton and Denise Kale Tuthill of Newton. Aaron was a strong-willed cancer survivor from the age of two and loved her nieces, nephews, and her fur-babies, Rayne and Toby. She enjoyed playing pool and lived life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Carey and Ada Broadwell; maternal grandmother, Lorene Reynolds; great-aunt and great-uncle, Jerry and Margie Cruse; aunt, Veda Blanchard; and stepfather, Rick Whisnant.
Those left to cherish her memory are her father and stepmother Cary H. Broadwell Jr. and Pamela Broadwell of Newton; mother Denise Kale of Newton; brothers Cary Broadwell III (Jennifer) of Newton, Kyle Andrew Kale of Hickory, Wesley Michael Tuthill (Nicole) of Hickory; sisters Laurel Elizabeth Tuthill of Hickory, Paula Flowers Jones (Dee) of Newton, Phaedra Flowers Pistone (Tom) of Mooresville, Phonesia Flowers Myers (Kelly) of Mooresville; uncles Bobby Reynolds of North Dakota, Floyd Blanchard of Hickory; aunts Alesia Bare (Doug) of Cuba, Missouri, Marilyn Klinger (Scott) of Winston Salem, Connie Jones (Arthur) of Virginia; nieces and nephews T.J., Dakota, Sierra, Anthony, Sawyer, Shayla, Mia, Adalynn, Paisley, Knoxton, Jody, Nathaniel, Caroline, Jahlei, Zaria, Phoenix, and Piper.
A memorial service to celebrate Aaron’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 6 p.m. at Freedom Biker Church of Hickory. Rev. Phil Goins will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at Freedom Biker Church.
