CLAREMONT, N.C. - Gracie Ann Fuston Lane, 79, of Claremont, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
She was born February 12, 1943 in Pineville, Ky. to the late David and Mable Forester Fuston. Gracie enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Those left to cherish her memory are is her husband of 62 years Douglas Lane of the home; daughters Judy Hodge and husband Robert of North Fork, W.Va., Tammy Lane of Claremont, Sandy Lane and husband Tim Ross of Claremont; brother Joe Fuston of Charleston, W.Va.; grandchildren David Hodge, Jennifer Stacy, Daniel Hodge, Alan Huffman, Sara Huffman, Anthony Kelly, Tara Kelly, Timmy, Matt, and Josh Ross; great-grandchildren Jaden, Madison, Jaxon, Blaze, Calli, Jesse, Harper, and Lane.
A service to celebrate Gracie’s life will be held privately at a later date.
