TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. - Lisa Bennett Jenkins, age 59, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 following a lengthy illness at Gordon Hospice House.

Lisa was born December 30, 1962 in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Walter Bennett and Betty Short Bennett. She had worked in customer service for Boyles Furniture in which she enjoyed and owned and operated Lisa’s Kool Karate. She was of the Christian faith and loved to sing and enjoyed baking and watching her Minnesota Vikings. She loved her fur babies.

Those left to cherish and honor her memories include her husband, Robert “Bob” Jenkins of the home; her daughter, Hayley Danielle Dellinger; her stepdaughter, Amanda Elizabeth Jenkins and fiancé, Bobby; favorite son-in-law, Jaime Hawkins; her grandchildren, Elijah Dellinger, Caleb Hawkins; her step-grandchildren, Addison Clement, Piper Clement; her sisters, Angela Bennett Hill (Bob), Wanda Jean Bennett; and her brother, Walter Lewis Bennett.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Arlie Roten will officiate. Burial will follow in the Taylorsville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
