CHERRYVILLE, N.C. - Mrs. Towery Abernethy Dellinger, 51, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cabarrus.
Towery was born on August 20, 1971 in Lincoln County a daughter of the late Kenneth William Abernethy and Tonda Altman Abernethy. She was a former employee of McDonalds and Burger King in Cherryville.
Survivors include her husband, James "Cotton" Dellinger of the home; a daughter, Katie Dellinger of Cherryville; a stepmother, Lacy B. Abernethy; three sisters, Tammy Grant of Lincolnton, Jody Abernethy of Iron Station and T.J. Moore of Lincolnton.
The family will have a time of remembrance from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the residence, 103 Rudisill Avenue, Cherryville, NC 28021.
Burial will be private.
