Lincoln County Football Jamboree Aug. 13, 2021

On Friday night August 13, 2021, East Lincoln High School hosted the first ever Lincoln County Football Jamboree. West Lincoln and Ashbrook scrimmaged first. While no 'official' score is kept, West rolled up 29 points in the two quarters and looked impressive. Next came North Lincoln and Bandys,who fought to a scoreless tie, although North appeared to have scored, but it was called back on a penaly. Lincolnton and Forestview played next. The Wolves played well on defense but couldn't get going offensively and 'lost' 7-0. East Lincoln and Northwest Cabarrus finished the evening and based on that meeting, it appears the Mustangs will again rely on Tyler Mizell's passing to propel them this season.
