The NCHSAA Girls Tennis playoffs are underway. First round matches for teams were played Wednesday. Individual playoffs began Tuesday, but we got no report.  The Volleyball playoffs begin Saturday.

North Lincoln 42, West Iredell 16
With one game left on their schedule, North Lincoln's JVs have an 8-1 record, second to Hickory for the top spot in the Western Foothills Conference JV standings. The JV Knights' only loss was to Hickory. The Red Tornadoes haven't lost in the conference, They're also 8-1, but their only loss was to Newton-Conover in a non-conference game.
