LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Lincoln County man.
On October 6, 2022 deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of Janice Road, Lincolnton reference a missing person. The reporting party, a family member, said that Michael Chad Taylor, 47, lived in the basement of the residence and she had not seen him since Sunday, October 2, 2022 wearing a gray t-shirt and purple shorts. She told Detective J. Link that she left the residence on Sunday for about 45 minutes and when she returned Michael was gone. The missing man does not have a vehicle and did not take any personal belongings from the home.
Taylor is diagnosed with being bi-polar and requires daily insulin for Type II diabetes. He does not have medication with him. Taylor is a white male, 47 years old, with short black hair, blue eyes and a full black beard. He is approximately six feet tall and weighs around 140 pounds. Michael has been entered NCIC as missing.
