TRAFFIC ADVISORY: On Tuesday (Oct. 4th) a heavy equipment move will create traffic delays on the route from the Timken Company in Iron Station to the Duke Energy Combustion Turbine site on Old Plank Road. The move will start at 8 AM on NC27 at Iron Station, travel to Buffalo Shoals Road, then east to Ivey Church Road, then turn onto Highway 150 to King Wilkinson Road, then onto Amity Church Road to Highway 73, then onto Old Plank Rd. They are expecting the transport to take most of the day and arrive at the destination around 4:15 this afternoon.
