LINCOLNTON, N.C. - On March 9, 2023, a Narcotics Operation was conducted between the Lincoln, Cleveland and Caldwell County Sheriff Offices. The joint operation resulted in a large seizure of narcotics and the arrest of a two Methamphetamine Traffickers.
The two suspects were arrested after a search warrant was executed at a residence located at 1976 Willis Road in Vale. The suspects, Karan Lynn Holmes-Still, age 59, and Justin Adam Miller, age 39, were taken into custody without incident.
Investigators conducted a search of the property and located approximately 1150 grams (2½ pounds) of Methamphetamine, 10 Firearms and over $4,000 of U.S. currency. The Methamphetamine has a street value of $172,500.
As a result, Holmes-Still was charged with two counts of Felonious Trafficking of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep/Store a Controlled Substance.
Miller was charged with two counts of Felonious Trafficking of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep/Store a Controlled Substance.
Holmes-Still was incarcerated in the Lincoln County Detention Center under a $210,000 secured bond. Miller was incarcerated in the Lincoln County Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond. They both have a first appearance in District Court on March 10, 2023.
