The United Way of Lincoln County is a strong supporter of Lincoln County Schools.  Over the years, the United Way has provided grants and resources to schools across the district. 

United Way of Lincoln County provides several Community Resource Hubs for the community.  These Hubs are managed through various partners in Lincoln County.  The resource hubs can be accessed by any school employee, DSS personnel, or United Way agency during operating hours or by scheduling an appointment.  Supplies are restocked at the beginning of each school year through United Way’s Stuff the Bus event.

Asbury Resource Center (ARC) is located at Asbury Academy in Lincolnton.  The ARC provides clothing, shoes, hygiene items, and other essentials for students in Lincoln County.  The ARC is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 2:00pm. Communities in Schools (CIS) Teacher Resource Center provides a large variety of school supplies and materials for Lincoln County students in need.  Because the Teacher Resource Center is open by appointment only, teachers are encouraged to contact Amanda Costner at [email protected] or call Alisha Friday at 704-240-8621 to set up an appointment.

West Resource Center is located at West Lincoln Middle School.  The West Resource Center serves as a satellite location for the ARC.  The center offers food, clothing, hygiene kits, cleaning supplies, and school supplies for Western Lincoln County students and their families in need.  The West Resource Center is open by appointment only.  Contact Robin Dycus or Alicia Kester at 704-276-1760.
