After a long and courageous battle with his many illnesses, Bill went home to be with our Lord and Savior. Heaven gained an angel, and a piece of Cindy’s heart.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Covenant Church with Rev. Nathan Grooms officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Predeceased by his parents, Helen (LoBrotto) and Frank; brother-in-law, William Karcher; and best friend and cousin, Charles Colaruotolo Sr.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife Cindy (Adamski) Stefanello of 26 years; daughter, Elizabeth Crandall (Michael); sister, Shirley Karcher; cousins, Maryann Colaruotolo, Annmarie Colaruotolo, Charles Colaruotolo Jr. (Nancy), Frank Colaruotolo; brother-in-law, Stephen Homer; nieces, Jennifer Nersinger Adderley (James), Jennifer Powell (Nicholas); nephews Michael Karcher, Thomas Nersinger (Marian); many great-nieces and nephews; many, many special friends; and an extremely loving and supportive church family from Covenant Church.
Originally from Rochester, N.Y., he worked at General Electric in Schenectady for three years before moving back to Rochester, N.Y. where he worked for 25 years at Sentry Safe Co. as a quality control manager before retiring.
Bill was an avid car buff. He loved watching movies and listening to music, and spending the summers at his cousin’s farm in Albany, N.Y.
He was a loving husband, father, uncle, cousin, and a good friend to everyone, and will be sadly missed by all.
