LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Judy Little McMurry, 79, of Lincolnton passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Atrium Health Pineville following a brief illness.

She was born March 11, 1943 in Catawba County to the late Blair Little and Pauline Huffman Little Moose. Judy was a member of Pearl Baptist Church in Iron Station and loved her family, her flowers, and her favorite fishing spot at the pond.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father that raised her, Albert Moose; and daughter, Lori Swink.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years Jerry McMurry of the home; son Tracy McMurry and wife Robin of Maiden; daughter Lisa Sigmon and husband Clark of Lincolnton; brother Randall Moose and wife Liz of Newton; son-in-law Allen Swink of Lincolnton; grandchildren Ethan Swink (Alex), Addison Icenhour (Daniel), Trevor Sigmon, Blair McMurry, and Blake McMurry; and great-grandchild Payton Swink.

A graveside service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. Rev. Hugh Whitfield and Rev. Charles Ingle will officiate. Those serving as pallbearers are Ethan Swink, Trevor Sigmon, Blair McMurry, Allen Swink, Daniel Icenhour, Tim Parker, and Clark Sigmon.
