Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives have located a teen runaway.

Lincoln County Commissioners have approved the purchase of land for the new East Lincoln Library. It will be on NC273 abuot two miles west of East Lincoln High School.

Lincoln County Fire Marshal’s Office and North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation have determined that the housefire on Cloudburst Circle in Lincolnton was an accident and caused by improperly discarded smoking materials.

About 2:46 a.m., Wednesday morning (today, April 17), Lincoln County 911 Communications was alerted to a residential fire at 1661 Cloudburst Circle in Lincolnton.

She is charged with one count of distribution of fentanyl resulting in death and one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Lincoln County Schools will get an additional $6.1 million for fiscal 2025. Lincoln County Commissioners voted 3-2 to approve the full amount for which schools had asked in a joint session in mid-March.
