2024 Alive After Five May 23rd
The postponement of the Food, Wine & Brew Fest until the second Saturday in September was certainly the right decision: there were thunderstorms and so much rain that had it been held, surely few would have attended.
Downtown Lincolnton won't have to wait long for its next major event: the annual Alive After Five concert series begins Thursday May 23rd with 20 Ride, the Zac Brown tribute band.
This year's series will include concerts in May, June, July, August and September; and the Food, Wine & Brew Fest has been rescheduled for September 14th.
For those who just can't wait for Lincolnton's Alive After Five, Maiden will debut its 2024 Jive After Five series on Friday May 17th.

Thursday, May 2nd- Mark Trammel Quartet (Gospel)
Friday, May 17th- Dirty Grass Soul (Country)
Friday, May 31st- Cassette Rewind (80’s)
Friday, June 14th Juneteenth Event- Ace Party Band (Variety)
Friday, June 28th – The Tonez (Beach)
Friday, July 12th- On the Border (Eagles Tribute)
The show begins at 6:30 at Maiden Town Hall, 19 N Main Ave.
Of course, this Saturday (May 11th) is the monthly 2nd Saturday Shop Local in downtown Lincolnton, and after a day of shopping, you can enjoy a free movie at the Movie in the Park happening Saturday night at First Federal Park on N. Poplar Street.
Next Saturday (May 18th) Casey Clark will perform at the Cultural Center.
